Parent involvement is
one of our cornerstones.
The teacher, with parent helpers, provides individualized instruction to encourage academic success.
The unique aspect that sets the Greater Warsaw Cooperative Preschool apart is parent involvement. A registered mom, dad, grandparent, or other relative can come in and help on your family’s participation day. The participation schedule is created to be as convenient as possible for all families. Work schedules, vacations, and appointments are all taken into consideration for determining when it is your family’s participation turn.
When parents participate in the classroom through a conveniently-scheduled rotation, you send a supportive and loving message to your child that this step in their lives is important enough to do it together. It’s such a wonderful experience to have your child asking if it is your turn in the classroom, but the real reward comes when you answer “yes” and see their face light up!
Greater Warsaw Cooperative Preschool strives to provide an environment in which each child fully explores his or her own capabilities. We use a child's natural curiosity to cultivate lifelong skills and personal abilities. Through supervised play, children develop in all growth areas: social, emotional, physical, and cognitive. Social awareness is encouraged through interaction with other children of similar age. Children acquire self-discipline and self-esteem by learning to solve problems and to accept limits. The teacher, with parent helpers, provides individualized instruction to encourage academic success.
